Dear Convention Delegates,
I pray that the Almighty took you back to your respective homes safely as He did with my family. Our yearly convention has come and gone but I can still replay the weekend in mind. This was a great convention for our archives. Thank you to all who attended and to those who could not attend but understood the need to be compliant with membership obligations ,we thank you.
I would first of all thank the devoted members of BACDA USA -New England Chapter who put on a spectacular convention, third time indeed is a charm. I am excited by the hard work and hospitality demonstrated during our stay. BACDA USA- New England remain Strong!
The cultural show case was electrifying as always and the love for the culture was seen in the eyes of all who danced around and those who stood to take pictures. Thank you to all the chapters who made a difference to showcase our culture of dance. Thank you to all who made the deliberations and special thanks to all who attended our gala to raise funds for the following year. Special thanks are an order to Mr. Theo Epie for moderating and MC’ing the gala. I am so proud to have called you up but even prouder that you are a “mwan ekose” who is ready to serve his people. Thank you sir. And to our Sunday Barbecue host, Mr. and Mrs Kwo, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I observed as the convention delegates felt at home and were reluctant to leave for the day. That is the type of character we appreciate and look for in BACDA USA.
Again, to all of you who made it to the New England chapter thank you and I hope you all got back home safely. We cannot be thankful enough to the Almighty for providing us with a smooth entry into and exit out of the Boston metro area.
Until we meet again in 2017 remain blessed and keep the flame of unity lit.
